Neutral Strategy Review
It's been a challenging week, but I'm proud to say that despite battling a stubborn sinus infection, I was in the trenches alongside my members every step of the way.
But here's the thing: even when things get tough, I never lose faith in my levels. And once again, they worked wonders for us. In fact, I felt like we were really hitting our stride this week. It's always rewarding to see your hard work pay off, especially when the markets are in a state of flux.
Speaking of which, let's talk about SPY. Early in the week, we saw a breakout from neutral, and the index tested T2 before dipping back into the box. But it wasn't long before it bounced to the upside, only to be stymied by T3. It's the kind of back-and-forth action that can make your head spin, but we navigated it successfully thanks to our tried-and-true approach.
The QQQs, on the other hand, presented a different kind of challenge. We saw weakness ahead of a fresh round of earnings, and try as we might, we weren't able to break to the upside. Instead, we found ourselves held underwater, eventually tagging my T2 to the downside before selling pressure began to weaken. By the end of the week, we had managed to close in the neutral box, which was a victory in its own right if you’re bullish. Funny how they peg us right in the grey box ahead of earnings week. Remember NFLX and TSLA are delivering this week!
I dropped a couple charts pre-market for newsletter subscribers including this one on 4/13.
Take a look what happened on Thursday and Friday =).
